ABOUT REIMUN

REIMUN is a student led Model United Nations initiative built around the idea of Rise Experience Initiate. These three words represent our approach to conference design and student development.

Rise reflects our belief that every delegate should have the opportunity to grow.
Experience stands for the professional environment we work to create in every committee room.
Initiate represents our commitment to encouraging new ideas, new leaders and new perspectives.

Our aim is to raise the standard of MUN in the region and provide a platform where students engage with international issues in a disciplined, well structured and academically strong setting.

REIMUN III

REIMUN III represents the next stage in the development of our conference. Building on the foundations established through our first two conferences, it aims to deliver a more refined Model United Nations experience for delegates across the Eastern Province.

With stronger internal systems, an experienced organizing team and the lessons gained from previous conferences, REIMUN III continues our commitment to creating an environment where students can challenge themselves, develop their skills and take on greater responsibility. As REIMUN continues to grow, our focus remains the same: creating a conference that encourages students to rise, experience and initiate.

REIMUN II

REIMUN II was held on 23 and 24 January 2026 and marked a significant expansion of our work. The conference took place in a leading international school in the Eastern Province, providing a professional academic setting supported by faculty and adult supervisors. With between two hundred and three hundred and fifty delegates and a full lineup of eight to ten committees, REIMUN II delivered a stronger, more immersive debate experience than its predecessor.

The second conference introduced a larger Executive Board, a structured internship program for developing future leaders and improved internal systems that reflect the scale of the event. REIMUN II built on the achievements of our first conference and provided a more ambitious, dynamic and academically grounded experience for every participant.

REIMUN I

Our first conference was held at the Marriott in Khobar on 13 and 14 December 2024. With more than one hundred delegates across four committees, REIMUN I demonstrated our ability to deliver a clear vision, consistent organization and a high quality delegate experience. Many of the delegates who participated in REIMUN I fully embraced the spirit of Rise Experience Initiate and continued to grow beyond the conference. Several went on to hold leadership positions in later MUN events, school activities and early university programs. Their progress reflects the environment we aim to create and reinforces our commitment to building a conference that genuinely supports student development.
